Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI)

Anyone can become EFR certified or an EFR Instructor. These courses teach first aid and CPR skills that are valuable for everyone on the planet. As well as an adult First Aid and CPR Instructor you will become a Care for Children Instructor and will be able to teach infant and child CPR techniques.

As a PADI Instructor it is of great value to be an EFR Instructor. It will make you more employable and able to teach Rescue and DM courses. For anyone thinking about becoming a PADI Instructor, it is now a pre-requisite.

If you are planning on becoming a PADI Instructor, as of March 2009 you are required to be an EFR Instructor prior to becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor. So to remove some of the stress and workload during the IDC, why not think about doing this in advance? We also offer regularly scheduled ERF Instructor courses as part of our IDCs.
