Philippines DivingThe Philippines has some of the best and most varied diving in the world. Most of the things on your "to see" list can be found here. Fortunately for you, because the Philippines has received so little publicity, it is still a relatively secret destination among divers, and most areas have very few tourists and even fewer divers. CabilaoCabilao is a macro lover's dream. You can see all kinds of small critters. A great place for beginners. Apo Island/DumagueteApo Island is a marine reserve and so has amazing marine life. Beautiful corals, big school of jacks, and turtles. There are often strong currents so it is better for advanced divers. Dumaguette is a muck diver's dream. Southern LeyteLargely unexplored territory, Southern Leyte has some great diving. Excellent corals, varied marine life and whale sharks can be seen at certain times of the year.
