CPR and First Aid Classes
& Emergency Oxygen Provider
in Malapascua
Island, Cebu & The Philippines
PADI's Emergency
First Response Program is PADI's CPR and First Aid certification and several courses are available. All are
non-diving courses, suitable for divers and non-divers, young and old alike. You will receive training
in CPR and emergency medical care - invaluable information that every
person should know.
A current EFR or equivalent first aid/CPR certification is a pre-requisite
for PADI's Rescue Diver, Divemaster, EFR Instructor and Instructor courses.
Emergency First Response EFR
The course is split into two parts:
Primary Care (CPR)
Learn rescue breaths, CPR and revival techniques.
Secondary Care (First Aid)
First aid for many common injuries.
The Emergency First Response course:
- Follows protocols from the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group
of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).
- Satisfies CAL-OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Administration)
CPR requirements
- Meets CPR requirements for participants seeking certification through
the American Council on Exercise.
This course may be appropriate for your business requirements. We can
teach it at our facility in Malapascua or at your business anywhere on
Cebu island. Group rates are available.
For Divers: We will also discuss dive-related
injuries and
the first aid required. This course works very well with the
Rescue diver course and we usually try to teach them at the same time.
Care for Children EFR CFC
A special CPR and First Aid course focusing on the needs of children in a medical emergency. A must for all parents and anyone else who spends time around babies and children.
EFR Instructor Course EFRI
Anyone can become an EFR Instructor, diver or non-diver. It's a great way to earn extra income, especially for Divemasters. It is pre-requisite for the PADI IDC (Instructor Development Course).

PADI Oxygen Provider Course
This is a new course from PADI. It is an entry-level emergency oxygen course that also teaches you how to recognize dive illnesses treatable by emergency oxygen. Though suited for divers, it is a non diving course also available to non-divers. EFR certification is not needed.

In order to be ther best prepared buddy a diver have, you should alos consider EFR, Rescue and Master Scuba Diver.
