Advanced Nitrox Diver
This Program is designed to extend the diver’s knowledge in the use of Nitrox for Recreational diving. It further develops diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the Nitrox concept of diving.
This program qualifies divers to 42 meters and complete a maximum of 15 minutes of required decompression stops.
Prerequisites
- Nitrox Diver
- IANTD Deep Diver
- Minimum of 30 logged dives or sufficient experience to satisfy the instructor that the student has the ability and knowledge to continue into this level of training.
- Minimum age: 15 years
Course Content
- A confined water session proceeds all Open Water dives.
- 4 Open Water dives, 2 of which must be to depths between 30 and 42 meters
- If combined with a Deep Diver Program 6 or more dives, 3 dives must be
made to depths between 30 and 42 meters.
- Students are taught the use of Nitrox mixtures to a maximum of 40% oxygen for the non decompression portions of the dive and up to 100% for decompression to a maximum of 1.5 PO2 for decompression.

- Twin tanks and regulators
- Pony or stage cylinder
- SMB and reel
