DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course Options
PADI has restructured its DSAT Tec Courses for 2010 into a great new program.
The DSAT Tec Deep Course is now an integrated sequence of three sub courses: Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50. Each course name corresponds to the maximum depth to which you are trained. You can complete these courses at any time. This gives you learning efficiency, instructional integrity and schedule flexibility. Each level introduces you to new gear, planning and procedures appropriate to extend your diving limits.
If you are thinking about technical diving but aren't sure, DSAT Discover Tec lets you try technical diving equipment and procedures. Discover Tec experiences can also credit towards other DSAT programs.
If you are interested in technical diving and would like to complete your first course, the PADI DSAT Tec 40 course is a great choice. Tec 40 certifies you to dive up to 40 meters using up to 50% oxygen for stops with a maximum of 10 minutes decompression. Minimum of 4 dives over 4 days.

Tec 45 is the second sub course in the PADI Tec Deep Diver program and certifies you to dive to 45 meters using up to 100% oxygen for stops with unlimited decompression.
Tec 50 is the final course in the PADI Tec Deep Diver Program and certifies you to dive independently to 50 meters using up to 100% oxygen for stops with unlimited decompression.
