PADI DSAT Tec Rec Diver Courses

The DSAT Tec Deep and Trimix Courses are broken down into an integrated sequence of several sub courses. You can complete these courses at any time, separately or all at once. This gives you learning efficiency, instructional integrity and schedule flexibility. Each level introduces you to new gear, planning and procedures appropriate to extend your diving limits.

The full PADI Deep Tec program can be done in one course, but also broken down into Technical diverTec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50.

if you want to go beyond 50 meters, it time to add some helium and get into trimix! Again there are several courses: the intro Trimix 45 and Trimix 50, and then Trimix 65 and the full Trimix course which includes training dives as deep as 90 meters!

DSAT Discover Tec

If you are thinking about technical diving but aren't sure, DSAT Discover Tec lets you try technical diving equipment and procedures. Discover Tec experiences can also credit towards other DSAT programs. Great even for Open Water divers, and only 10 logged dives are required!

PADI Self-Reliant Diver

The purpose of the Self-Reliant Diver specialty course is to recognize and accept the role of the buddy system and its contributions to diver safety while identifying and developing self-reliance and independence while diving. It is a great course for experienced divers, photographers and dive professionals.

Trimix Courses

For the extreme diver ready to further explore the world of technical deep diving, the gas of choice is trimix – a blend of oxygen, helium and nitrogen.

The PADI Tec Trimix Diver course takes you to the outer edges of technical deep diving, opening the door to pristine dive sites few divers – if any – ever see.

Intro Trimix courses: Trimix 45 & Trimix 50

These are PADI Distinctive Specialties, maximum depth of 45/50 meters with a maximum O2 content
of 21% and a maximum helium content of 20%.

It is a further 2 dives with some trimix theory and a great add on if you are taking Tec 45 or
Tec 50. It takes 2 days.

DSAT Tec 65 with Trimix

This course opens up the advantages of trimix to the diver, and divers are qualified to make multi-stop decompression dives that employ EANx and oxygen for accelerated decompression, and any trimix with an oxygen content of 18% or more. PADI Tec Flowchart
